Red radish sprouts are very rich in nutrients, especially vitamins A, B1, B2, C, PP) and mineral salts (Iron, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Sodium). They help strengthen muscles, enhance eyesight, have antiseptic functions and stimulate production of gastric acid. Soak a suitable amount of seeds in water overnight. The next day spread them on the sprouting trays considering that they will increase by at least 4 times in volume. Keep at room temperature and in good light conditions. Rinse the seeds 2-3 times daily until they are fully germinated (4-6 days). They are immediately ready for consimption or can be kept refrigerated for 1-2 weeks.
