Very tasty shoots for picking in early Spring. Very hardy and high yielding. Sowing Sow the seeds thinly in a well prepared seed bed 1cm (½”) deep in a short row. As the seedlings appear gradually thin to 7-10cm (3-4”) apart. When seedlings are about 10-15cm (4-6”) tall, transplant to the growing site spacing plants about 60cm (24”) apart. Water well and firm soil around roots. Other Instructions Pick out central spear first to encourage lots of side shoots.
