Wild Pear Tree Gift

Wild Pear trees are small shrubby trees that can grow up to 4.5 meters 15ft. The smooth bark of the Wild Pear tree is a greybrown colour and its wood is often used to make musical instruments. Wild Pear trees are tolerant of atmospheric pollution. Small white flowers appear in April with the fruit ripening in the autumn. Your fruit tree will arrive as a young sapling, 4 - 6 foot in height, in bare-root form. Our fruit trees are each packed in specially designed boxes and sent by courier to ensure they arrive with you in excellent, healthy condition. Please note that fruit trees ordered in autumn and winter will arrive without leaves as they will have already fallen for the winter and will have gone into dormancy. Fruit trees are best planted when dormant, so plant on arrival and give it a good dose of water. The following spring you will see the buds grow and eventually leaves will appear on the branches.
