Sowing Space the seeds 1.5cm (3/4”) apart in tray or two to a cell in modules under glass at 20-21°C. Cover lightly with compost, and with glass, to retain humidity. Growing your own potatoes is very rewarding and really easy. They can be grown in your vegetable patch as well as in deep containers or grow bags. When your potato seeds arrive, leave them in a cool, light place until they begin to grow shoots ('eyes'). When there are 2 - 3 'eyes' on the seeds (remove any excess by rubbing them off) they are ready for planting. Shallow plant in March - May in garden soil or soil based compost into the growbag provided. Top up the soil level as the stems grow.
Radish Geo Sprouting Seeds
Radish sprouts are very rich in nutrients, especially vitamins A, B1, B2, C, PP) and mineral salts (Iron, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Sodium). They help strengthen muscles, enhance eyesight, have antiseptic functions and stimulate production of gastric acid. Soak a suitable amount of seeds in water overnight. The next day spread them on the sprouting trays considering that they will increase by at least 4 times in volume. Keep at room temperature and in good light conditions. Rinse the seeds 2-3 times daily until they are fully germinated (4-6 days). They are immediately ready for consimption or can be kept refrigerated for 1-2 weeks.
